Jennifer graduated from Laurentian University with a degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in Health Promotions in 2003. She then went on to continue her education at York University in the Athletic Therapy Certificate Program. Upon completion of the program, Jennifer became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2005.
Since then she has continued to enhance her manual therapy skills through taking a variety of courses, such as Muscle Energy and Myofascial Release, and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Jennifer has worked with a variety of sports including football, hockey, lacrosse, rugby and field hockey. |

Melanie Evens

Melanie obtained her Athletic Therapy Certificate at York University after completing an hounours degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Melanie has been a certified member of the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association since 2006. Since then she has completed a number of continuing education courses including Muscle Energy (T Spine, C Spine), Soft Tissue Release and is currently enrolled in the Advance Standing Massage Therapy Program at the College Ontario College of Health & Technology. Melanie has worked with a variety of sports teams including university and OVFL football, rugby and soccer.

Dr. Shukla finished a Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) degree with Honours in Biomechanics at Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1998. Over the next two years, he completed a Master of Applied Science degree through the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Institute for Biomedical Engineering in 2000 at the University of Toronto. Returning to Halifax, he successfully finished his MD at Dalhousie University in 2004. He then moved across country to pursue a Family Medicine residency in Prince George, BC, through the University of British Columbia, finishing in 2006. Finally, Dr. Shukla returned to Toronto where he recently finished a one-year Fellowship in Sport Medicine through the Department of Family and Community Medicine. In May 2008, he successfully passed the Diploma of Sport Medicine exam through the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine.
